Grade 5.1 2017-2018
Lots!!! After weeks of learning about how to keep ourselves healthy, today we prepared a variety of healthy dishes in our classroom thanks to Liza Rowan who put together the menu and brought the ingredients.
In groups, the students made banana ice cream, maki sushi, mango salsa, a delicious passion fruit dip and fruit skewers, and a chocolate and banana smoothie. In the end, it all tasted fabulous.
Lesson of the day: healthy food can be colourful, tasty and fresh!
