5SB students spend time in the Science lab viewing various cells: hair, blood, muscle, bone, scar and plant
To deepen our understanding of one of our lines of inquiries: the physical changes we experience, it seemed relevant to go down to the basics.
Since our human body is made up of over 7 trillion cells (!) and cells are building blocks of our body, we headed upstairs to the Middle School lab to look down microscopes. It lead to a great discussion, later in the classroom, with students setting off on new independent inquiries.
View life from the perspective of a 10 -11 year old, and it will bring much humour and joy.
