LIFE AS CHILD LABOURERS
IRDINA: Today my group and I decided to sit on the floor to do our work so that we could feel how hard is it working on the floor like most child labour do. We made a corner for ourselves in one part of the classroom.
I sat on the math period and break. When I sat and did my work in on the floor I felt tired because every time when I need to work or write I had to bend down and it is not comfortable sitting on the floor.
ARIELLA: It felt weird sitting on the floor because I felt like I was in the naughty corner and like everyone was staring at me. I sat on the floor for 2 and a half periods.
KEN: This night it was really uncomfortable because I just slept on the cold wooden floor.
IRDINA: Today I slept on the floor on Saturday night. It was not comfy sleeping on the floor because the floor was really hard not like a bed. My living room’s air-conditioner was broken so I have to on the dining room’s air-conditioner which is the next room. It was pretty hot that I did not use my blanket while sleeping.

Heegyu's Action: since the last week, Heegyu has been taking short showers. His goal is to be under 3 minutes. His latest score is: 2min 28sec. "You have to scrub really fast! I use the shampoo and soap on my body at the same time to save time."
SARA AND SHERRISA ARE INQUIRING INTO DIABETES. To experience what a child with diabetes feels, the girls made patches, or rather "bionic pancreas." Sara wore hers for a WEEK, even while sleeping!
Sherrisa: Today Sara and I made something to stick it in our body to see how it feels like to use a some kind of technology that sticks to our body: A Bionic pancreas.
But we made it small and thin so no one could see it. Because we really felt embarrassed , and so we didn’t tell anybody that we were wearing it except for Ms.Batlaw. When we played Two-square Four-square, when I tried to catch the ball, it dropped. I didn’t know it fell off. Until Sara came to me and gave to me. I was very shocked. I tried to wear it again but it kept on coming off so I put it in my bag. When we were making it, a lot of people asked what we were making. And we told them."
EYE TESTS DURING LUNCH BREAK
Steven, Andjani and Preritt have been inquiring into how technology affects children's health and behaviour.
During the course of their research, they learnt that an increasingly large number of children in South Asia were developing a poor eye sight and wore spectacles compared to WEstern countries.
Main reason? Not enough time spent playing outdoors!
So the trio developed their own eye test to
ANDJANI: A lot of people I realized either had no problem, myopia or astigmatic; but I can’t wait to see what other students eyes are. At the start I didn’t think that many people were going to come but now we have more than expected people coming to get their eyes tested during lunch breaks. I can’t wait till the exhibition day to show what I have learned and everything will pay off.
The reason why we did a eye test was because we want to test children's eyes because maybe they have bad eyes because they use computers,laptops,tablets or mobile phone too much.
Karl is inquiring into Hybrid cars and has designed his own car.

The classroom has transformed into something new. Some students are working on the floor, some cutting paper, others discussing and making plans on how to share their research.....researching some more...printing...cutting...
