AROHA'S BLOG POST: My favorite part of this week was Math, because we were inquiring into Probability and I made a probability game as a summative assessment. We could choose if we wanted to be with a partner, my partner was Shabiya. We made a game called Even and odd. Even and odd is used with a spinner and a chart. We used the spinner instead of a dice. It's used to show the probability. In our game, the player spins the spinner. They check the key to see if they get a chance to move up or down.
My game is called the Math Board game. I have made questions and answers to move forward. The probability is in the use of the Spinner. There is the least chance of landing on Orange, and 5/12 chance of landing on Green.
THOMAS's Maths Big Adventure Game: I used a dice. I made the dice with counters. To win you have to throw the dice and reach the Prize.
View life from the lens of a 10 year old, and it will bring much humour and joy. That sums up my experience with my grade 5 students at ISS.
