We started the process of writing our own central idea about a week ago.
Ms Skrtic helped us identify some qualities that are necessary for a central idea that is worthy of inquiry.
Next we wrote our own central ideas and shared them with a partner and gave evidence to explain why tour ideas were: engaging, relevant, challenging...
Then, we shared our ci with a larger group and after a lot of debate and discussion, we voted for one central idea.
View life from the lens of a 10 year old, and it will bring much humour and joy. That sums up my experience with my grade 5 students at ISS.
