Message from the PTA:
Dear Elementary School Community,
Here's how YOU can help make this day a great success...
One Dish Per Student
This year we are asking that every family bring in one dish of food per student to share at the ES International Buffet. Bring in a dessert, main dish, savory dish, sweet dish, appetizer - whatever you like making and would like to share with our families!
**If a group of parents from the same country would like to get together and provide a table with an assortment of dishes from your home country, please do!
The food will be organized by country of cuisine.
What else do I need to know?
The food may be dropped off in the morning (Friday, 9 October) or any time before 12:15 PM in Room 16 of the ES (first room on the ground floor when entering from the ES main entrance).
Please clearly label the dish with the type (country) of cuisine. Please also label if the dish contains peanut, tree nut, dairy, egg, or pork.
How can I help?
We are also looking for parents to help set up, serve food, and clean up at the International Buffet.
Please click on the link below to complete this very short form:
We look forward to seeing you and trying your delicious buffet contribution at this year's International Day!
View life from the lens of a 10 year old, and it will bring much humour and joy. That sums up my experience with my grade 5 students at ISS.
