The students of 5.1 are very proud because today they made a difference to some one else: Our class donated $300 to ACRES, an organization that rescues wild animals in Singapore.
The $300 are from the $600 they raised at the Market Day in their inquiry into How We Organize Ourselves.
The students selected the organization and a young man from ACRES visited our class today to tell us about their work.
And... ACTION !!!
View life from the lens of a 10 year old, and it will bring much humour and joy. That sums up my experience with my grade 5 students at ISS.
